Sylvia Park, a large shopping complex located in Auckland's Mt Wellington environ and has been going through some significant additions including a open air dining lane labelled The Grove.
Collaborating with WA Landscape Architects Nick Jones Walkspace delivered a customised version of our F Series Benchs and MINI Benchs to fit into this unique and busy environment.
The seating has internal LED lighting with control equipment mounted on a customised internal rail with triangular perforations to filter and throw the light onto the paved areas.
Material selections were limited to non-combustibles as the area was semi enclosed so some creative thinking was required. The inclusion of a "Top Hat" was included after the seating was installed to offer further comfort during the long hot sunny days we experienced over the summer of 2018.
