The Albert Street streetscape works form part of the City Rail Link (CRL) works, with the complete Albert Street being trenched to form the railway tunnels below, requiring complete new streetscaping once the tunnels were complete. The City Rail Link (CRL) is New Zealand’s largest transport infrastructure project ever and a game-changer for the Auckland CBD.
Walkspace worked alongside Jasmax and Connectus in supplying all the street furniture elements required. This included the complete Auckland Council CBD Suite of street furniture, including seating, bike racks, tree grates and bins. All product fully conforming to the CBD suite design manual specifications.
