Walkspace, in collaboration with John Fillmore Contracting & Jasmax, recently completed the supply of bespoke seating for the Britomart Plaza project, located at the Waitematā Station in Auckland’s CBD. The project enhances the network of high quality shared spaces and laneways, welcoming people as they enter and exit the station and explore the city.  The plaza has been designed in partnership with mana whenua and reflects the rich history of the Waitematā foreshore, honoring both past and present.

The seats and bench’s consisted of a stainless sub-frame with over a hundred custom profiled slats to achieve the wave like effect. Additional to the seating, Walkspace supplied BR_02 bike racks, Auckland Council’s CBD Suite customised tree grills with as well as our DF_02 accessible drinks fountain all of which contribute to a more inclusive and functional public space.
